Certain Circumstances

FMD must be invested for a minimum of 12 months after the deposit was made, unless a withdrawal is made:

• in exceptional circumstances, or
• because the owner:
• dies
• becomes bankrupt
• ceases to be a primary producer for 120 days or more,
• or has requested the deposit be transferred to another financial institution.
