How often are my account details updated?
Elders Rural Bank Internet Banking service runs on 'real time' which means that account balances are updated immediately the transaction is effected.
Can I cancel a funds transfer?
You may only cancel a future-dated funds transfer. Transfer of funds between your Elders Rural Bank accounts occur immediately.
Can I open new accounts using Internet Banking?
Due to a number of factors, customers are not able to open an Elders Rural Bank account within the Internet Banking service. You may enquire about accounts using the Secure Email service, or by phoning Elders Rural Bank on 1300 660 115.
Can I close accounts using Internet Banking?
You may request an account closure via the BankMail service*. You should include the account number of the account to be closed and details of the account that you would like any remaining funds to be credited to.
Alternatively you may contact Elders Rural Bank on 1300 660 115.
*Please note that card accounts cannot be closed until the attached card(s) has been returned.
