Do I need any special software or hardware to enable access?
To access the Internet Banking service, we recommend that you have:
- A PC with a Pentium processor.
- Windows® 95, Windows® 98, Windows® 2000 or NT operating system
- 16MB RAM.
- Web browser software

Please note: Whilst we believe Macintosh users with a PowerPC operating system 7.5.3 or higher and recent version browser can utilise the service Elders Rural Bank gives no undertaking that the Macintosh platform is supported.
What type of browser do I need?
For optimal performance, users should install Internet Explorer version 4 and above, Netscape Communicator version 4.5 and above, Netscape Navigator version 4 and above. The latest browser versions are available from the Internet via the links below.
Are some browsers safer than others?
As we place a high emphasis on security you will need to be using one of the latest browsers that supports 128-bit key encryption (listed above) to access Internet Banking. The latest browsers are capable of supporting 128 bit encryption, and will "step-up" to this stronger level of encryption when connecting to a site such as Internet Banking.
Who can I call if I have problems accessing the Internet?
